surmounted by a seated figure of Cupid, the vase painted to the front with an 18th century outdoor scene, signed Canart, and painted on the back with a river scene, the twin train movement with the Marti seal and numbered 4800
Condition
overall in fair condition, there is no winder, no pendulum, and the bell is cracked and with a loss, the gilt bronze with the usual tarnishing and dirt, the ceramic shows no traces of restoration but with extensive wear to gilt highlights, the circular door protecting the dial is missing its glass plate.
Please note that the movement has not been checked for functionality. However, the movement is complete and may be put into a working state by a professional horologist.
