comprising a pair of urns and a clock surmounted by a bust of the goddess Isis signed P. Gagne, the marble dial with gilt bronze Roman numerals and signed Howell James & Co. To the Queen London & Paris, the twin train movement stamped HOWELL JAMES&CO TO THE QUEEN LONDON & PARIS, numbered 2551 and 52 and impressed with the Japy Frères pastille 

Condition

Marble and slate with some abrasions and minor chips at edges and corners; most to bases and not extensive. Patinated bronze with some light rubbing and some scratches. Gilt bronze with some rubbing, oxidation and surface dirt; all consistent with age and use. Bust slightly loose. Clock lacking key and pendulum. Please note that the movement has not been checked for functionality. However, the movement is complete and may be put into a working state by a professional horologist.
