  • height of claret-ground vase 18 1/4 in.
  • 46.4 cm
the first painted on either side with Flora or Aglaia with cupids and affixed with snake-entwined handles; the second reserved with a portrait of Duchess of Bourgogne beneath the wide gilt 'jewelled' border at the neck, pseudo shield marks in blue, inscribed titles and various numerals. 

Condition

The turquoise-ground vase has some very minor wear to the gilding along the rim. There are two minuscule footrim chips. The burgundy-ground vase has some minor wear to the gilding on the gilt-edged borders of the panels on both sides and additionally on the rim of the vase.
