comprising four armchairs, four side chairs and a canapé. One armchair lacking Aubusson upholstery, now with later beige fabric.

Condition

As stated in the catalogue description, one armchair lacks the Aubusson upholstery. All frames with the usual losses to gilding, showing gesso and bole. All showing seams of construction. Extensive dirt to crevices of carving. The armchair without the Aubusson upholstery has a break to the plumed crest. The break will need to be professionally restored. One armchair has a loss to the scrolled foot to one of its back legs. All pieces will need to be strengthened, as there is movement to the backrest. All scrolled feet with extensive losses to gilding. Some losses of carving.
