comprising a pair of seven-light candelabra and a clock, the enamelled dial with Roman numerals and signed LEMERLE-CHARPENTIER & CIE Bronziers PARIS 8. Rue Charlot, the twin train movement stamped LEMERLE CHARPENTIER FANT de BRONZES PARIS 242
Condition
Candelabra with arms slightly loose; recommend tightening screws. One arm with restored break. One lacking removable flame-case finial from central nozzle. Other, present, finial with small casting hole. One candelabra lacking two small gilt bronze screw heads connecting garlands; one on top section one on bottom section. Marble of candelabra and clock with abrasions and minor chips at corners and edges; not extensive. Dial with small chip to enamel at XII numeral. GIlt bronze in overall good condition; all three pieces with minor traces of oxidation and surface dirt, candelabra with some rubbing.
Clock with winder. Please note that the movement has not been checked for functionality. However, the movement is complete and may be put into a working state by a professional horologist.
