Overall in fair condition with the usual tarnishing to bronze. As visible in the catalogue illustration, there are extensive scratches to ebonized wood as well as some loss to ebony. Extensive dirt to crevices of bronze. To each canted corner there were original ebony moldings in the shape of squares to the upper part of the cabinet beneath the marble; all are now lacking.
