gilt full plate movement, verge escapement with fusee chain, finely pierced and engraved cock and half of the plate, blued screws, white enamel dial, Roman numerals on eccentric dial for hours, outer Arabic track for minutes, moon-phases indicator dial, constant subsidiary seconds, independant jumping seconds at 6 o'clock, inner case with plain centre, engraved foliage and floral decoration to the band, outer case with engraved foliage and floral decoration to both bands, bezel highlighted with green and colorless paste stones, movement and dust cap signed and numbered Wm. Carpenter, London, No 4043

Condition

The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, however it would benefit from a service soon. Dust to the dial with some light hairlines. Glass slightly scratched. Both inner and outer cases with some tarnihing. One green paste stone missing to the bezel.
