Oblong 8vo (198 x 247mm.), printed title in German and French, 50 matt silver prints (198 x 247mm., or the reverse), small publisher's monogram in the image, captioned at foot in French and German, title and photographs preserved loose (as issued) in original dark blue-grey cloth portfolio, upper cover with coloured vignette and stamped in gilt and blind, a few captions slightly cropped, a little edge wear, first photograph with small loss to one corner, some light spotting on the reverse
