Catalogue Note

An apparently unique proof form of Robyn's elaborate single-sheet world map, constructed on a north polar projection. While the geography seems complete, the title banner and the illustrations in the cusps around the hemisphere are altogether more naively rendered, and were replaced by more elaborate allegorical scenes in the finished version.
