Part 1 (only, of 6), folio (412 x 290mm.), engraved decorative title, 59 double-page prospects, maps or plans, all coloured by a contemporary hand, initials and tailpieces also coloured, red ink page numbers to the top right corner in a contemporary hand, identifying index number in sepia ink to the top left by a later hand, most with an anglicised title in pencil to the margin, contemporary calf gilt, the covers with a centrally placed armorial incorporating two griffins flanking a shield below a crowned helmet and the initials “F.D.V.” contained within fillet borders, the spine in seven compartments with raised bands, lettering piece in the second, the others with a small acorn tool, gilt and gauffered edges, [Koeman II, B & H 1; van der Krogt 41:1.1 (1588)], some minor browning, soiling or spotting, binding scuffed at extremities, foot of spine chipped with approx. 20mm. loss, silk ties lacking
