Catalogue Note
Reports from the first scientific expedition to study the natural history of Central Australia. The expedition was sponsored by the mining magnate William Austin Horn. The owner of this copy, James Edge Partington (1854-1930), was a noted anthropologist and authority on Pacific ethnology.
