This, the second large-format map in the sequence, is one of the most decorative of the type, with finely observed portraits of fifteen governors of the Netherlands, published to commemorate Dutch independence from the Spanish crown.

This is the third state, with Visscher's imprint. The two earlier states, recorded by van der Heijden in three examples only, are virtually unobtainable.
