Condition

Apart from scattered spots of retouching, notably in the sky, along the right third of the extreme upper edge, and an intermittent vertical 7cm thin stroke in the lower right quadrant, and some surface frame rubbing below and to the right of the signature (visible in the catalogue illustration), overall this work is in good condition. Held in a gold-painted wood and plaster frame with decorative mouldings.
