Description
- gold, turquoise, amethyst and diamond
The cushion-shaped clasp chased with leaves and flowers in three coloured gold applied with cabochon turquoise and faceted amethysts with bead surrounds, to a wide bracelet of similar design, length approximately 195mm.
Condition
Composed of three coloured gold. Amethysts light to medium purple, generally loupe clean, some with typical inclusions visible under magnification, two stones chipped. Turquoise light blue to greenish blue, two stones cracked. Diamonds only on clasp bright and lively. Clasp with signs of alteration to reverse, with two flower head motifs deficient, fitting secure when closed, additional safety chain. Abrasions and slight discolouration in places consistent with age and wear. Old repair to reverse of one link on bracelet.
