- gold, topaz, emerald
Comprising: a necklace, bracelet and pair of pendent earrings, composed of cannetille work, set with foil backed pear-shaped and oval topazes and cushion-shaped emeralds, necklace length approximately 370mm, bracelet length approximately 175mm, earrings with post fittings, fitted case.
Condition
Bracelet stamped with indistinct marks. Topaz foiled with bright pink foiling, some cases displaying loss of colour. Emeralds medium to dark green, typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification. Evidence of repair to one bow on necklace with small traces of solder to the reverse, one loop to central bow deficient. Wire mesh on necklace slightly bent in parts. Well articulated. Abrasions and slight tarnish to mount consistent with age and wear. Bracelet with additional safety chain to side. Clasp fittings secure. Earrings with later hook fittings. Fitted case with evidence of name, now indistinct and with fittings for two bracelets, scuffs commensurate with age, with two hooks deficient. In good condition.
