Description

Designed as a bird in flight, the body set with foiled back variously shaped garnets, the eye set with a rose diamond, later brooch fitting.
Condition
Garnets dark purplish red, typical inclusions visible under magnification, abrasions and chips to facets and facet edges. Rose diamond bright and lively. Brooch fitting later added. Evidence of solder to reverse. Abrasions to mount consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
