Description

Depicting a knight and lady in 15th Century dress, highlighted with circular- and single-cut diamonds, later set at the centre with a pear-shaped ruby and diamond jewel, later brooch fitting.

Condition
Ruby medium red, uneven tone, with typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification, some surface reaching fissures and chip to side. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.50 - 0.60 carats, stones bright and lively. Later pin fitting. Evidence of repair and where jewel has been added to reverse. Abrasions and tarnish to mount consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
