Description

Of open work scroll design, set with rose diamonds, reverse chased, later fitting, French assay marks.

Condition

Overall the condition of the jewel is good. There is some minor wear to the surface consistent with age. The terminals both a little loose and the central floral motif has some movement. The object was probably once part of a larger jewel.. The bar fitting to reverse is later. Weighing approximately 41.4 grams. Measurements: 7.5 by 5.7cm., 2 15/16 by 2¼in.
