A pair of onyx, ruby and diamond cufflinks, early 20th Century

Designed as reversible 'day and night' cufflinks, one side set with calibré-cut rubies, the other with black onyx, highlighted with single-cut and rose diamonds, French assay and partial maker's marks, one diamond deficient.

Stamped with French assay marks for gold and indistinct partial maker's mark. Diamonds bright and lively, few minor chips and abrasions. One diamond deficient. Rubies well matched in colour, few chips and abrasions. Scratches to mount consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
