Gelatin silver print, signed and numbered 6/35 in felt-tip pen in the lower margin. On the reverse stamped 'Brigitte Bardot, 1959' and 'This photograph may not be reproduced without written permission of Richard Avedon'.

Condition

The print is in generally good condition. The lower left corner with two small folds that have cracked the gelatin layer, outside the image; a handling crease near the right edge in the upper right portion. Two soft handling dents in the lower right portion, and one in the lower left portion of the image, visible in raking light only. A slightly discoloured spot near the upper left corner. Please note that the photograph offered here has been printed in 1959 and not at a later date as mentioned in the catalogue notice.
