Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although they fail to convey the three-dimensionality of the original. Condition: This work is in overall good condition with their original wool made out of different skins as illustrated in the catalogue, particularly apparent on the right side of the sheep with the head. The wool is lifting slightly on the forehead, on the cheeks and under the chin. There are a few traces of residual glue on a patch of wool under the left ear. There are traces of light green pigment on the seat in a small area circa 8cm long and a small area of faint brown on the upper side of one of the ottoman. There are some traces of glue, a few scratches and wear to the patina along the edges of the ears and nose as to be expected. There are a few thin scratches and wear to the patina of the sheep. All three sheep are all on their original wooden castors.
