  • gilt-bronze, marble
  • Height 24,5 cm
marked `J. Dunach'

Provenance

Sale: Sotheby Parke Bernet Monaco S.A., Arts Décoratifs, Styles 1900 et 1925, 24 September 1978, lot 317
Acquired directly from the above

Condition

Gilding overall very worn and marked. Golf club is bent out of true and appears to have sustained a repair at the club end. Marble base with some edge chips. Although Dunach made car mascots, it is probable that this is a sculpture, rather than a fitting for a car.
