Exhibited
Leipzig, Museum der Bildenden Künste, Gunter Sachs, 2008
Condition
Some light wear and marks within gilding commensurate with age. Column on which the figure is seated has a number of marks in a horizontal pattern, but these are not too distracting. Build up of presumably cleaning fluid to within folds of figure's cloak, this is easily removed. Foundry mark has been double-struck. Base with very minor chips to corners, and one old repair to corner at front on figure's right. Nonetheless an attractive figure, well modelled.
