Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue are fairly accurate although there are more green undertones to the patina. The overall tonality is deeper and richer in the actual work and fails to convey the sculptural quality of the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is light surface dirt in some of the crevices. There is natural oxidisation to the patina of this work, as one would expect notably to the left proper underside. The hardstone stepped plinth is chipped in two places as a result of movement from the bronze it supports. Minor chips to extremities to the plinth.
