Colour:
The colours in the catalogue are fairly accurate although the whites are brighter in the actual work.
Condition:
The work is in very good condition. There is wear and a small paint loss to the lower left corner tip. There is some red discolouration to the white text which reads jaloux des autres artistes and to the B of the artists signature. There are stable drying cracks to the white impasto paint inherent to the artists medium. There are other faint surface and text irregularities which appear to be original to the work.
