Some of the letters have repairs to elements and old fractures but are generally good and ready to place. They also come with a comma for the letter 'T'.

These letters were commissioned by Gunter Sachs to be used in his own photographs and became props that appear in some of his most memorable images. Aside from appearing on the cover of Gunter Sachs book (op. cit), the letter T corresponds to the first initial of one of his regular models, Tanja Veit. The letter K was also used for a series of memorable images, called the 'Konsalik Series'. These surreal photographs were produced by Gunter Sachs as a commission for novelist Heinz Konsalik in 1991, images from the series were exhibited in Leipzig in 2008 and Moscow in 2009.
