parcel-gilt and gesso case, the interior with an engraving of cherubs to the lid, the movement with two combs, winding and stop/start knob to the side together with thirty-four pierced interchangeble discs
Condition
Great fun. The case with numerous losses to gesso and gilding. The mechanics are in good order and have been recently oiled. One short bit from a comb appears to have snapped. A decorative object in its own right. Some of the discs with wear and damage but generally good.
