Literature

`Chez Gunter Sachs à Saint-Moritz', Plaisir de France, January, 1971, p. 33, in situ

Condition

Colour of vellum is a richer, mottled greeny cream than suggested by catalogue illustration. Piece has been lightly restored. The stain to the wood has been augmented and a light clear varnish is evident over the vellum. Vellum is very slightly lifting at the feet, and there are a small nail heads visible in the vellum and some glue deposits where it has been re-fixed. Glass shelves probably replaced. Nonetheless a useful and attractive piece.
