Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is brighter and warmer in the original. Condition: The work is in very good condition. There is a layer of varnish to the surface. There are scattered rub marks to the surface when examined under close inspection. Examination under UV light reveals a scattering of retouching along the upper edge and very small spot of re touching to the right of the figure and towards the bottom left corner.
