Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Upon close inspection, there is a hairline crack running parallel with the centre of the left extreme edge. There are a few further stable drying cracks to the impasto paint at the centre of the composition, inherent to the artist's choice of medium . There are four small media accretions to the central purple cube; one to the centre left and three to the centre right. There appears to be some light discolouration along the outer edges of the central painted cube and in a few places elsewhere. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals a spot which fluoresces towards the centre of the composition.
