Condition

Colour The catalgue illustration is too grey in the central composition and fails to accurately convey the scarlet hues within the dark brushstrokes. Condition: This work is in good condition. There is tape around all four edges of the sheet and light handling marks in places. There are small spots of paper skinning and tiny abrasions in places around the edges of the composition. There are several surface irregularities in the upper right quadrant where the paper appears uneven. There is a faint line of discolouration along the left edge and to the bottom of the right edge. There are two minute pinholes to the centre of the left edge and a small brown spot of foxing adjacent to the centre of the right edge.
