Catalogue Note

Only three versions of this clock are known: two, one of of which is slighlty different as it is surmounted by a finial depicting a single putto with a tambourine, are in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, and an identical one sold Ader-Picard-Tajan, Palais d'Orsay, June 13, 1979.
