upholstered à châssis with Louis XIV petit-point wool and silk needlework panel, French, early 18th century.

Condition

With scattered age and construction cracks, minor chips and abrasions to carving. Scattered old worm damage; most to legs and feet. Some small infill and patches to base; possibly to repair loss of wood due to worm damage. With pleaxiglass to protect needlepoint inset. In good condition.
