Condition

Some rubbing, oxidation and surface dirt to gilt bronze. Most rubbing to top of handles. Mounts of one vase slightly loose. In good condition. The vases are both drilled through the bases and may at some point have had a mount on the foot. The foot rims are both polished slightly. Both vases have small restored over patches on both sides of each neck and one one shoulder, There are traces here of underglaze-blue and it is likely that there were originally small molded porcelain figures or animals applied at these points, which were likely removed when the mounts were fitted. One vase has a firing fault mid-way down one side which appears as a small rough area. Otherwise both vases are in good condition.
