the oval dome embossed with lattice, shellwork and scrolling foliage, also with pendant bellflowers and sprigs of berried laurel, raised on four reeded strap supports and knopped ebonized wood base, interior with well-and-tree platter and two circular wells.

Condition

some scratches to interior well-and-tree platter, circular wells with lead(?) solder around edges, dome probably re-plated, replaired split to dome at one side of handle, lacking burner, two wood feet repaired; overall impressive
