the shaped circular bases chased with lobes and with applied with twisted branches at angles rising to grapevine forms stems and branches with pendant grapes, tendrils and steated bacchic putto, branches tooped by fixed sconces. Together with a pair of Louis XV style gilt-copper five-light candelabra. 4 pieces.
Condition
one candelabra with leaf detached but present, and with loss to branch at base; the other with small losses and splits at base, leaf below putto with old repair now splitting, otherwise good condition. Please note that one leaf is broken and detached, yet present and will be repaired at Sotheby’s expense.
