Condition

The drawers rerduced in depth and early 18th century, now lacking ormolu mounts; originally probably parts of a bureau. With scattered age and construction cracks, dents and abrasions. Ebonized areas with cracks, chips and abrasions; most cracks to top and to right side. Top with glue residue. Tortoiseshell with small chips, cracks, patches, infill and some further restorations; mostly to drawer fronts. Some areas with faux tortoiseshell. Some lifting, dents and oxidaiton to brass inlay. Gilt bronze mounts with some oxidation and surface dirt. In sound condition.
