  • corner console: 54cm. high, 55.5cm. wide, 47cm. deep; 1ft. 9¼in., 1ft. 9¾in., 1ft. 6½in.; two carved walnut brackets: one: 12.5cm. high, 17.5cm. wide; 5in., 7in.; the other: 22.5cm. high, 23cm. wide, 14cm. deep; 8¾in., 9in., 5½in. giltwood pair: 32cm. high, 32.5cm. wide, 19.5cm. deep; 1ft.½in., 1ft.¾in., 7¾in.
together with two Venetian carved walnut brackets and a pair of small carved giltwood console table/brackets

Condition

In overall good original condition. Old minor marks, chips and scratches commensurate with age. Hairline cracks and splits in the veneer due to shrinkage. There is some shrinkage where the frieze meets the carved apron which can easily be filled. Hairline cracks and construction cracks commensurate with age and usage. There is an iron bracket at the back to attach to the wall. Two carved walnut brackets: One in generally good original condition. Old very minor marks and scratches, consistent with age and use, the other in generally in good original condition. There are minor chips, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Carved giltwood console table/brackets: in generally good order, the end of the stem of one has previously been detached and has been restored, there are restored breaks to the carving at the beginning of the stems underneath the tops on both brackets, areas of retouching of the gilded decoration around the repaired areas, an attractive pair.
