Condition

In overall good conserved condition. Old very minor marks chips and scratches commenserate with age. There are some construction cracks at the joints and some old minor filled cracks which do not detract from the piece. There are some minor losses to the gilding especially on the apron and side which can easily be touched up. There is some degredation to the mercury of the plate but this is most attractive. Evidence of very old worm which appears to be no longer active.
