- base only: 46cm. high; 1ft. 6in.
of triangular form with seraphim masks and scrolls on paw feet centred by a scrolled boss depicting a horseman, the underneath with a paper label inscribed in ink N.719 P120004; now fitted as a standard lamp
Condition
In overall good conserved condition.Very attractive detail to carving. Old very minor chips, and evidence of old minor worm which appears no longer active. There is a crack down the centre of the base to one side and a construction crack down the foot which can easily be filled. Minor chips to paint on the seraphim faces. Some of the gilding lacking on the feet due to wear and worm damage.
