Description

  • approx. 31cm. high, 53cm. wide, 37cm. deep; 1ft. ¼in., 1ft. 8¾in., 1ft. 2½in.
with a raised rectangular top above leaf carved panelled sides, the front inscribed S VINCENT BENEDETTA above a gadrooned frieze, on paw feet, the inside of the lid with the label inscribed in ink N1171 C12000

Condition

In overall good original condition. Old minor marks, chips and scratches commensurate with age. Parcel gilding worn. Evidence of old worm which appears no longer active. Evidence of old glue on the base. Water staining. Some minor losses due to worm damage to feet and generally. Lockplate now missing.
