with a rectangular moulded top above two frieze drawers, on baluster trestle supports joined by a stretcher
Provenance
Antichitá Salvadori, Florence
Condition
In overall good conserved condition. Old marks, chips and scratches and staining especially to the top. There is a couple of patched repairs to the top and a later triangular section at one corner. The top has shrunk and the batons beneath the top are visibly protruding beneath the drawers. A restored construction crack to the bases of both baluster ends. The pin joining the stretcher to the ends is probably a later replacement. There is a circular patch to the left baluster, but this has been well done and is not too noticeable.
