Condition

In otherwise good conserved condition. The nails securing the top to the carcass are protruding slightly. Some very minor patches to the top which are slightly lighter in colour. Old marks, chips, scratches and staining especially to the top. There are signs of masking tape residue, which can easily be cleaned off. Good patina. The internal drawers have been varnished and are lacking their handles which now have tassels. Lockplate and hinges possibly later replacements. There is evidence of a previous shelf in the side recesses. The rear feet have later blocks to strengthen. Evidence of old very minor worm which appears to be no longer active.
