Catalogue Note
This group is crucial in order to determine the stylistic evolution of G. Gricci. For its dimension, elegant composition and the differing proportions of heads compared to the body, this group is a key work, leading towards the mature Rococo style from about 1755, which is characteristic of Gricci production.
