wearing a mob cap, red-bordered white dress and gilt-bordered green apron (some losses, minor chips and cracks)
Condition
tip of supporting tree ground off, hairline crack to right arm at elbow, minute chip to cap and bottom right hand edge of apron, small extended firing crack to front of base

This figure is very close in composition to "La Mendicante" ("the beggar") realised during G. Gricci's best artistic period (1748-1752) and published by A. CarĂ²la-Perrotti, op. cit., Naples, 1986, n. 139, pp.198,199.
