  • 25cm, 9 3/4 in diameter
painted in the manner of the Bergantini workshop  with the arms of Roberto di Michele Strozzi of Florence  (b. 1493) impaling those of Marietta di Simone Ridolfi, within a jewelled border, the broad rim with grotesques and formal foliage, and with evenly spaced winged putto's heads above banners inscribed 1524, the reverse with overlapping petals in blue and ochre, so-called Casa Pirota mark in ochre (broken and restored)
