Catalogue Note
Very few female figures were modelled by Reinicke for the Weissenfels series, only two female figures can be attributed with certainty to the group. This model, together with the following lot, possibly modelled by Freidrich Elias Meyer, are considered to complete the Weissenfels series ; certainly they were represented as such by the Meissen factory in the 1930's.
