finely painted by J.G. Höroldt, one tea-bowl with a Chinese lady, a monkey and other figures, the other with a boy bringing tea to a seated Chinaman, the interiors of each with an iron-red medallion of a fenced garden below an elaborate gilt-border, the saucers each with a man, a woman and a child with palm trees and flowering plants against a clouded sky, within Böttger lustre, iron-red and gilt cartouches, the saucers with underglaze blue crossed swords marks, the teabowls with enamelled blue crossed swords mark
