Description

  • 14cm, 5 1/2 in high
of cylindrical form with twin lion mask handles, moulded with broad acanthus and bell flower borders, each with two large shaped cartouches painted in Augsburg, probably by Elizabeth Wald, with brightly coloured Chinoiseries scenes of figures selling and drinking tea within burnished gold borders (some chips)

one with two tiny rim chips, the other with flat footrim chip, restored haircrack to rim.
