Catalogue Note

An illustration for 'Beauty and the Beast'. In 1921 Heath Robinson illustrated Old Time Stories told by Master Charles Perrault (Constable, 1921). This collection included 'Beauty and the Beast' but not this illustration. It is possible, therefore, that this was an unused drawing from 1921.
